Cardio on rest day.

rest = little activity, eat, sleep

non-lifting day = could be cardio day?

... depends on what you're trying to do and your goals.

Goals are tough right now. I am 235 and lean, trying to maintain. I love my size but want to stay lean too. If I overtrain I might loose size, If I undertrain I might loose size.

Ever try to keep diet on point?

DIET will maintain even if you werent working out ( in theory)

You could do active recovery. I personally only like total rest when I need it mentally, if I take days off I tend to get stiff/sore. You can swim or do incline walking or some interval work on the track or treadmill. Just adjust your cals accordingly if you're keeping track, and stay away from long, slow joint wrecking stuff like running 5 miles if you're pushing it in the weightroom.

Good answer. I like it. I forgot about the incline walking action - will incorporate again. I usually just do the eucliptic machine cause the knee's.
