Cardio HR while in keto

I've read that during morning cardio, it's better to do a lower intensity. Apparently during high intensity cardio, more protein/muscle is used for energy since it can be converted into energy faster than fat can. Is this true? and if so what is the optimum range that you should be doing cardio for maximum fat loss?

To the best of my knowledge, "low intensity" is considered anywhere between 60%-80% of your MHR (max heart rate).

Take your age, subtract from 220, and multiply by anywhere between .6 and .8. That should give you a good idea. I try to keep it around 150 beats/min myself.

Maybe others will chime in.
