I have just recently started doing cardio right when I wake up. What do you guys think my first meal of the day should be percentage wise. EX:80% protein,10% fat, 10% carbs?
depends on the type of cardio you're accomplishing...If you're doing mod intensity, go with an empty stomach...if you're doing HIIT (high intensity interval training), eat some oatmeal/protein powder before hand (70:30 carb to protein)
What if you're on CKD? I do HITT sessions every other morning. I usually do rowing with 100lbs of resistance (about 8 minutes) and about 8 minutes of punching on a punching bag. After that I shower then eat my normal breakfast. I've been thinking about adding a pre-workout protein shake on those days.
