We weight train to keep (possibly even gain some) our muscle while we cut calories, some do cardio to help the cutting process along quicker.... some don't because they feel as though they loose muscle mass that way.
Ok... you want what we all do... put on muscle, decrease BF, have some abs to show off
Train your ass off, eat clean (OFTEN throughout the day), stay hydrated, do cardio after lifting or on "off" lifting days. And you WILL be very happy with your physique.... maybe not your social life, but that's ok
