thanks 4 the info doll. I have trouble sleeping as is but i know i have heard that getting everything going as far as cardio late at night amps you up, so i wasn't sure. My gf says the same thing she says she can crash 5 min after running late at night. I just can't seem to get my self up arly enough to hump a few miles with out being a wimp.
I do cardio at night a couple hours before bed without a problem. Just lay off the caffeine at night. I take in absolutely zero caffeine less than 6 hours before bedtime. (Working overnight shifts can be hard, but if I drink a cup of coffee at 5 am before I get off work, I'm guaranteed not to sleep when I get home.)
It depends why you're doing the cardio - to lose weight or for the aerobic benefits. Cardio raises your metabolic rate for hours, so if you're going to bed soon after you lose some of the potential weight loss. If you're doing it for aerobic purposes I don't think it matters much.
cardio at night is fine, but for some people its not comfortable, because there heart is still beating faster then normal. so they may have trouble sleeping.
