cardio after

It's getting tougher for me to lift and do cardio in the same day (time restraints). Is there any disadvantages to running right after lifting. I obviously wouldn't be able to have a pw-shake until after the cardio session, cus if I have it in between, I'll be liable to puke it up. Any harm in waiting until after cardio? thanx

I think you ougt to down that PWO as soon as possible after the workout. You muscles really need it then and there.

Can you split your workouts or do them on different days? I often run when I wake, and lift in the afternoon.

I'll have to switch my schedule up. I always lift on the same days/same times, and those workouts take precedence over everything including cardio. Prolly need to wake up earlier to do the cardio ...

The question is somewhat vague - too many variables at hand. But the most intuitive answer would be that it is in fact bad - bodily hormonal and anti-oxidant stress response is probably suffering during cardio session, especially if your workouts prior to it are intense. However, in the long run that might be a good thing - as your body adapts, it will become more efficient at producing its own higher levels of adaptogens and regulating hormonal panel (cortisol, test, gh, thyroid hormones). The only caveat is that you can't overtrain - because the effect will be the opposite.
Try conditioning yourself towards higher physical potential!
