Carb meal after insulin

Question for slin users.

If i take 8 iu slin pwo with 50g protein and 80g carbs, then in my pwo meal about 50 mins after injection do i have to eat an amount of carbs the relevant to the slin dosage? So for 8iu slin my first meal should have 70-80g carbs in it? or can i just stick with my normal 50g carb meal

I suggest 10-15 grams of carbs per IU of insulin, right after the injection, don'at wait. For 8IUs you'll need at least 80-120 grams of carbs.

Yer ive only been using 9-10g carbs at the moment per iu and it seems to not get my hypo so i figured dont go any higher or il start putting on fat? Or should i check my blood sugar at a certain point in time like 3 hours after slin injection to see if im gettin too much carbs in.

I figured if i was staying out of hypoglycemia that was enough but maybe not taking enough carbs means im not gettin the full benefit of slin?

its a good idea to run GH with your slin to minimize any excess fat storage and take advantage of the symbiotic anabolic relationship of the 2.

also as a general rule 10 grams of carbs per iu of slin is perfect.
