How do you feel about Saleen Mustangs? I test drove one yesterday and I liked it. Obviously not the most practical of vehicles, but I've always been a Detroit steel kind of borham.

Yeah, but the saleens handle quite a bit better than they will. You can get one with 550 hp, but I think the one with 465 is plenty. I was surprised at how well it drove. I really got on it when I hit the on ramp to the freeway and it didn't get too squirrly.
 
My neighbor had a 2003 gold saleen, that thing was badass.. great muscle sound too

I really like the sound, it's almost what sold me. That, and it's just badass. It's just that they're a little pricey for an American car and the gas mileage is doo doo.

i begged god to kill me if i ever owned another ford. . .that said. . .i love mustangs. . .buy it and post up some pics!!

as soon as i get my bigger garage built, i'm going to start looking for a project car. . .an older chevelle or maybe a buick gsx. . .or maybe an old chevy pick-up, short-bed, step-side. . .tub it out and get a 505 crate motor. . .
 
I used to love the American Muscle cars, but hate to say it, no matter what Gm, Ford or anything other American car company developes, they can never beat the Japs.
Though the sound of the roaring Mustang GT engine gets me very very excited. My Mazda purrs but doesn't roar!

Now lets talk about what the entry price is for the cheepest mustang you can get that has saleen stamped on it somewhere. Just like Nigga Rich or Hood Rich peeps there are trailer trash douche bags that have cars that are worth many times what their home is worth. Cars are status in the park.... lol.

we arent talking the 6 cyl etc we are talking the Saleen line up. From about 450 hp up to 600 hp.

trailer track rednecks are priced out of the Saleen line up.

yes Saleen mustangs are fast as hell

the S281 extreme out of box will run a 11.8 and 0-60 in 3.9 seconds

You don't have to lease if you actually HAVE the money to buy shit before you buy it...


and the SL500 was discontinued in 2007...I don't buy a brand new car ever because you lose 30K just driving it off the lot.


Of course anyone with common sense and money would know this, that's why we still have the money.



Oh and why don't I want to spend $187,000 on a SL65AMG...

Cause I'm not a poser with a little dick that has to compensate by buying a V12 engine muscle car man...
