Car Deadlift...

Just thought I'd share this here.

I've been doing the car deadlift with a few different things over the past few weeks as it will be an event at the Bluegrass (contest I'm promoting this weekend).

A few weeks ago I did our Black Caddy for some reps and when I was finished blood was running down my shoulder. A scab popped open and blood came shooting out.

Last Sunday I did 3 or 4 with my Suburban and it was pretty crazy.

Wednesday, after doing box squats, deadlifts, good mornings, and several other things...I played around with the Black Caddy again to make sure that everything was perfect for this weekend's contest.

Truly inspiring. I just wish I could make it to the bluegrass but no dice. Tell everyone to do well for me.

The more I stay in shape with medleys and put more time into my diet...the leaner I seem to get. I'm eating LOTS of kcals every day though...I'm just also VERY active.

well, lifting cars sure sounds active to me LOL. i noticed while deadlifting today that i had a nice little vein popping out on my chest. the more i cut down on rest periods, the more often this shows. Hmmmm makes me wonder....maybe i should start deadlifting cars as well. though id probably have to start out by lifting dinky toys :P
 
Here is one taken a few weeks ago...

I got on the scale today at 290 still. Seems like the harder I try to get to 300 the more my body just wants to stay at 280-290.

Thanks man...nothing more than anyone else.

One thing that I've noticed is that everyone who trains with me is not only becoming bigger, much stronger, and a lot leaner. The events that we do and the way that we are training is making us not only bigger and stronger, but leaner and better athletes.

It is a lot more fun than gym lifting as well.
