I have mild degenerative disc disease. I tried to work through it, but the pain and stiffness was intolerable. So now, I'm pursuing bodybuilding.WizKid25 said:Why can't you squat anymore? I'm sorry i guess i missed something

It was quite a disappointment at first. Everyone has goals and it appears my powerlifting goals are out of reach. I'm a very competitive person and weight training is a HUGE part of my life. Guess that's why I'm leaning towards bodybuilding now.WizKid25 said:
Sorry to hear and goodluck with the bodybuilding!
I have been investigating some of the treatments out there. I know I don't want surgery. And I definately don't want it to progress any further. I'm also being realistic and thinking about the future...playing with kids and such one day.Debaser said:I heard active release techniques do wonders for degenerative disc disease.
