2. Hooking up with girls on web forums you're already part of. Dumb. Not only will it start affecting your personality on the forums because you have to start watching what you say, but inevitably you will break up and you're back to the result of #1. It's the EXACT same thing as dating a female that you work with. Not a particularly smart move.

I like HS every bit as much as you do, fro. He's got one of the sharpest senses of humor I've run across in a long time and he consistently makes me laugh. But he knew this girl's personality and made a bad move. Unfortunately, he got handed an extra large platter full of "i'm going to make your life hell now," but such is the case with internet hookups. Sometimes you need that to wake up and see that you should keep your real life separate from all of this, otherwise you ruin the enjoyment you can get from the internet.

Hell yes I'm pissed off. HappyScrappy left for one reason and one reason only. He left because of smallmovesal. He was tired of her continually dragging his personal life onto this board. He was tired of her continually contacting the people in his "real" life and dredging up shit there. All he wanted was for her to leave him alone. But she couldn't do that. She kept interfering in his life and personal relationships until he'd just had enough. He left because of her.

Why shouldn't I be pissed? HS made my boring little job that much brighter with his funny posts and friendly demeanor. He gave me advice and comradare with the workout program we shared. He never attacked another member. He was an outstanding member of this board.

And the person that drove him away is somehow untouchable? How is it that she can play by a different set of rules. Are you people so sad that a woman with self esteem issues can manipulate you over the internet?

I'm done with the direct personal attacks. They really are beneath me. I was acting out of anger. However, I will not play nice and make pretty as I've done in the past. I refuse to pretend I like someone when I don't. I've never done it in real life and I'm not going to do it here.

Lock this thread if you want. I just wanted to say my peace. I only hope you leave it up long enough for the people who normally read this board to have time to read it.

Well, I like HS, but if he left because one person kept posting stuff about their personal life... then he isn't half the man I thought he was....

For whatever reason, people leave because of their OWN choices... not because someone else tells them to or makes them feel uncomfortable... if I did that, I would have never graduated law school because I'm not the "lawyer" type... by looks alone.

Well, I don't know enough about the situation... nor do I care to find out. I know smalls from a few chats and she seems like she has alot of difficult issues to deal with... I don't know how this affected HS or what their relationship was like...

Anyway... what's done is done, it has no effect on me... other than I don't get to see HS's posts anymore.

Unless you are in a real relationship... not some corny corn-hole one. I have had no problems with my relationship with Bondgirl on here... in fact, it is a topic of discussion we have in our real lives.. .we make jokes about certain posts, or tell each other about a post we posted on... it actually adds a bit.

And look at Kronk/Kronkette and AsiaReign/Pauly... they seem to be getting along well... (Getting together as well)...

There are exceptions in every case. Mark my words though, given the way relationships go, at least one of the above mentioned relationships is going to fail at some point in time. And for whatever couple that happens to, there's now an internet log full of memories and whatnot of that relationship. I can imagine how tempted I would be, if I left the boards because a girl I was seeing and broke up with posted on here, to come back and see what she was up to. And inevitably, I'd either see some shit slung at me, read about how she's dating some other guy, see her flirting with board members, or something along those lines and it would drive me nuts. It's like driving by an ex's place to see what they are up to. Not that I have done this since high school, but given the maturity level of some board members here, I wouldn't put it past a lot of people. Places like elite are places that I enjoy that I don't need to go to and be reminded of things gone wrong. Citrus I hope you are one of the exceptions.

It's bad enough when I search for old threads and see an old post of mine, and it's the dumbest thing I have read ever. I look at some stuff I posted a year ago, and I'm just like, "jesus, wtf was i on."
