it doesnt suck- but it does get pretty crazy...Im going to Cozumel instead this yr. Whats Playa del Carmen like?

Playa del carmen about 40min south of Cancun is home to a quaint fishing village, and endless cobblestone streets with bars and bodagas on every corner....if your going to Cozumel youll take the ferry from Playa del Carmen, stay a check out the town!

Also when you get to Cozumel, if your like snokeling/diving, take a cab to Chakanub Park (sp), and swim with the dolphins...the reefs are wild there trust me....

The nightlife in Cozumel was mild, yet surprising. I say mild in comparison to cancun. Didn't see much in Playa del Carmen. Cozumel rules in every other way though.

Oh how I'll never forget! Went in 2000 my last year of college ! Have to say LA BOOM was my favorite

And how can you guys forget the booze Cruise!!!!!!, that Island was crazy!!! good memories Hint lol!!

yeah... I agree. The beaches were nicer/less crowded in Cozumel & the night lift was very laid back compared to Cancun... but I was okay without all the frat boys puking outside my room this trip.

La Boom....

I was there during St Patrick's Day and it was crazy.....

There were so many people that La Boom had to build little kiosks inside because they couldn't make drinks fast enough.
