The guys playing for the good teams in this tournament are mostly first-round NHL draft picks, or will be this coming summer.

fact is, you're right. Outside of Canada this tournament gets very little attention.

It's too bad because it is some incredible hockey. The game last night was intense for the first two periods until Canada started running away with it.

Tomorrow night should be just as good against Russia.

Not really, baseball isn't doing very well...football (real football) followed by basketball would be my guess. We probably have a larger per capita fan base in mma too.

It should be in the bag with a three-goal lead. I don't like the way they played in the second period though; they looked sloppy at times. Hopefully they come out firing on all cylinders in the third and pad the lead some. Schenn needs one more point for sole posession of the all-time points by a Canadian tournament record.
