Can You Have Fun Without Getting Drunk or Stoned?

I don't drink or get high at all. I don't have a problem with the people that do but I don't see what is so fun about it. All of my friends just sit around a house and drink then pass out.

Oh btw I am not judging anybody that does this. Heck I know in my past I did it alot. But after time I have learned you really don't need to get drunk to have fun. It is weird you think you do but you don't.

I think "Extreme Days" is a good example of how to have fun without getting drunk. That movie is an excellent family movie btw.

since i woke up in the bed of the ugliest women i've ever seen i've never been drunk again (this was about 10 years ago). from time to time a good spliff, nice music and enjoy the moment.

What absolutely Blows my mind is when we go to a Childrens function (Party, Ballgame etc) and some parent pulls up with a cooler of Beer or Smirnoff Ice.

WTF ? I'm not talking about an adult type party where kids are in attendance. I'm talking about strictly a Kids function.

Now, I enjoy a couple of beers at adult gatherings or while BBQ'ing, but agree with Pop's. It's more fun to stay Sober and Screw around with the Drunks...

truthfully, I can, BUT

it can be a cathartic experience to "tweak" yourself with a chemical. It can help you let go of your own inhibitions and live in the moment... that is the same reason it gets people into trouble.

but i think people enjoy my company more when im drinking a few, as i get less inhibited and lose all shyness

either that or im imagining they do.

I enjoy a drink every once in a while, but don't get drunk. I don't get high at all. When my friends are stoned I do the Ernie from Sesame Street laugh. It drives them crazy, and makes them laugh their asses off. Fun for all.
