Can you have fun at a club and not dance?

I've never been the clubbing type. One of my friends keeps trying to get me to go to a club with him and some friends, The Lizard Lounge in DFW, but I don't think I'd have a good time. I've never danced before, and really just enjoy listening to music more than moving to it. I feel that if I went with him, it might ruin the night because I wouldn't be out dancing. Can you go to a club and just have a social night? I'd assume anyone and everyone would expect you to dance.

I never danced when I went to clubs. It's just something I never got into. Probably due to the anxiety. The only time I danced was when I drank an insane amount of alcohol. Other than that, pills wouldn't even get me in the mood to dance. I also used to frequent little hole in the wall candy raver clubs so there were a lot of people sitting anyways.

i agree with rnch, I get the most fun out of laughing at the groups of white girls that only dance with each other and can't stop giggling and all have the exact same 1 or 2 moves. good times.

some of the hottest chick don't even like to dance. If your good looking you can sometimes snag one of them outside, say you want to go for a walk, and take it from there

I think I may go with them once on either a Wed/Thur or Sun just to see what it's like. I assume the busiest (most crowded) times are on Fri/Sat night.

OK, if I go out tomorrow night, I'll take either a still cam or vid cam with me. If I don't go, I'll take one of the two with me whenever I do go.
