Can this EQ be saved?

I've got 3 cc's or so of TTokky EQ leftover from about 9 months ago. I doubt that makes for a very sterile environment in the bottle. Some have said that baking EQ isn't a good idea. Should I get a filter and run it through into a sterile bottle? If I do this it'll only yield about 2 cc's. What would you guys do filter, bake, or just shoot as is?

Thanks.

I bet it is still sterile. Did you make sure to wipe the top well with alcohol swabs before you stuck the needle through?

What you need to do is have some extra sterile oil around b/c a 0.45 micron filter takes just about 2cc to prime it.
There's no reason why the bottle is not sterile. Clean the top with 91% isopropyl alcohol, methanol,or even Betadine.

Just out of curiosity...you do have more than just that little bit of EQ....right?

You can run some air thru the filter at the end VERY CAREFULLY so you don't lose any....

Yeah, I'll have more than that :)

So the general consensus is that it's probably still sterile? I always used alcohol, but I was wondering if the air in the bottle might have made it unsterile by now. I'm refering to the air from the atmosphere that was put in there when I was drawing the stuff out months ago, not the little bit of air that was in the bottle to begin with!
