Ammonium Chloride Powder
For use as a urinary acidifier in cats and dogs.
CAUTION: Federal law (USA) restricts this drug to use by on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
How is this in an OTC supplement, oh thats right, the FDA doesn't look at "supplements".
According to drugs.com, even though it has to do with injection of ammonium chloride, i'm sure the powder is used for the same
Indications and Usage for Ammonium Chloride
Ammonium Chloride Injection, USP, after dilution in isotonic sodium chloride injection, may be indicated in the treatment of patients with (1) hypochloremic states and (2) metabolic alkalosis.
Contraindications
Ammonium Chloride is contraindicated in patients with severe impairment of renal or hepatic function.
Ammonium Chloride should not be administered when metabolic alkalosis due to vomiting of hydrochloric acid is accompanied by loss of sodium (excretion of sodium bicarbonate in the urine).
So Gaspari must feel that Mitotropin will severely impair my renal and hepatic functionality? Sounds awesome.
Anyone used it for a full 30 days?
