My girlfreind got a cold about a month ago(stuffy nose, sneezing, and coughing). About 2-3 weeks later she started getting really dizzy, shakey legs, and when she would lie down the room would spin. Now she gets so dizzy she falls sometimes and her head will shake and she has pains in her head and behind her right eye and her right ear hurts. She is now so dizzy she sometimes falls and her head shakes. She knows a nurse and the nurse said it is probably an inner ear infection and gave her some meclizine(sp?). I'm just curious if anybody else would know anything it could be? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. By the way I"ve tried to take her to the hospital but she's scared to go because she doesn't have any insurance.
