Calories on cycle

So I'm running test E. 500mg a week. And I plan on starting that in 2 weeks.
But my question is how many calories should I be consuming while on it.
My bmr is 2200 and I have been eatting 3000-3200 for the past 2 weeks and have put on 7 pounds and it's showing on my love handles. My goal for this cycle is to bulk up. But I don't want to put on more fat than I have to.
What do you guys suggest?

Thanks,
Matthew

Are you eating "clean"? Are you doing cardio just because ur bulking doesnt mean dont do any cardio it still helps

My cadio is 3 times a week usually just 30 mins on the elliptical.
And yes it is a clean diet alot of chicken pork and steak
As far as protein goes I'm taking in 116g off shake and another 100-150 in the food I eat

500 calories above your bmr is the norm..........as long as you never feel hungry you should be good. Doesn't matter how clean you eat, if you eat too much the extra calories will be stored as fat. Not so sure about when on cycle tho because i havn't used aas yet

More protein I need then, thanks

And yea I'm weighing in about 200-205 but I know with aas I am going to want to eat more to fuel the mucles during recovery. So should I stick at 3000 or go high I guess is what I'm asking

Thanks,
Matthew

Yes eat more go higher. food = best anabolic substance out there.

your wasting time generating cortisol for nothing. moderate intensity cardio only bruns light cals and kicks out cortisol which will make you retain fat. Switch to HIIT or tabatta style cardio instead.

Ok so I do want my calories higher, like I said I dont want to pack on the extra fat poundage unless I have too.

So Im going to switch over to 3500-4000cals a day with protein of at least 400g a day.

Also will switch cardio to HITT not my favorite but like said will be more effective for me.

Thanks everyone for the help,
Matthew

Well you could always do cardio on the treadmill first thing in the morning on an empty stomach 8-10 hrs after your last feeding, Then slam down a hi calorie -hi protein shake afterwards ,you should be feeding every 2 hrs With your biggest meals before noon and start getting smaller as the evening approaches!

No one likes it cause its hard but the end result is worth it. warm up for a few minutes and give it 110% for the next 8 minutes and your done. ou'll save a couple hours a week and it will be 10x as effective at not only improving your cardio conditioning but at burning off fat. You very well may find you have to eat more just because of HIIT cardio alone.

Its that it's hard, it's just I don't get to catch up on my tv time in front of the elliptical lol
I really appreciate all the help and info
Thanks,
Matthew

So your saying instead of cardio get on cardio machine warm up couple.min then just go balls out for 8 min? Is that all for cardio? Wat is this supose to achieve very interested

This isnt science fiction, the studies are out there. Tabbata uses intervals of max output with coo, down, say 30 seconds max output(sprint), 30 seconds walk, rinse and repeat for 10 minutes.

when you lift weight, do you do 50% your 1rm for 10 reps and go home? Does that improve anything? Your cardio conditioning isnt any different. If you want to increase you lung capacity then HIIT or tabatta is the way to go.

These methods have also clinically proven to increase metabolism and key it elevated for many hours after your session. In trials the actuall HIIT/tabatta workouts didnt burn as many calories (because of significantly shorter duration) BUT the end results in fat loss where many times greater and it was done in a lot less time and it increased VO2max etc etc.

Zyg is correct ,not only will this increase fat burning ability, but cardio capacity,Breathing efficiency,it lowers blood pressure,Raises your BMR,and helps you achieve a deep sleep ,this produces HGH. and to speed things up 30 minutes before cardio i would add forged burner, makes cardio a breeze.
