Callusses

Revlon makes what amounts to a "cheese slicer" for your calluses. Slices them right off without issue. Bought it at walgreens for a few dollars. Works wonders.
id rather use a bit of moisturizer than slice bits of my skin off.

I soak my hands in warm water, with a skin softening soap, for about 10 minutes. Then I use what can only be described as a 'cheese grater' for feet, until the 'dead' looking skin is gone. Then I rewash them and apply lotion. The rough spots stay, but at least the dead/peeling skin is gone.

I don't like gloves either. I do pick at my callouses, WTF is up with that? Like I'm a bored chimp at the zoo. I use an emery board and file at them constantly. I had one at the base of my left ring finger split way down deep for some reason. Fucker took forever to heal, what a bad place for a split. Lotion is great for softening them but I feel it makes my hands to greasy when I workout.

The solution...don't workout LOL.

Solution. Use lotion at home... use chalk in the gym. Make sure your grip is good and solid so you don't cause more callus formation then necessary.

callouses are great. between my weight lifting, hard manual labor job, and being a musician, i have plenty and i love them all. i could not function without them because i would get blisters which would hurt like hell. a man should have callouses, women perhaps not so.

I love mine, take a look at any serious lifter and then a pretty boy poser - The lifters all have them in conjuction with a huge build! People without them dont have the size/power in comparison

try lifting, and playing bass like me.
My index and rude finger tips on both hands are really rough as well as my palms.

But those rough tips come in...handy ;)
