Calling All Computer Gurus

What up fellas? Quick question.....anyone know why I'd get a "run time error" asking me to debug everytime I switch threads or rooms on one computer, but not on my laptop or desktop at home? Is it a setting? Thnx in advance...........also, while I'm at it.........is there a way I can wipe my comp. clean of everything except the programs that originally came with it? I have so much junk and pop-ups from f-ing kazzaa, that it's driving me crazy...sometimes take 2 min. to flip from website to website..........thnx again...

I have the same problem before logging, I suspect it has something to do with my pop-up killer.

Run the restore disk. One should have come with your laptop and PC when you bought them. All that extra shit you have collected from KaZ could be the problem with the error message. I would either run the restore or back up all your files you want to keep and format the hard drive. This should fix the problem.

I am almost positive you have a countless amount of spyware on your computer, download Adaware 6.0 and run it, its free and works well:

Disable windows messenger service, this is probably a big source of popups

Your system is probably slow because you have a countless amount of programs running at startup and in your quicklaunch area. You should disable many of them by navigating to
START>run>"msconfig">startup (tab)

Disabling these items will not prevent them from being able to run. Be careful what you disable. Read more about it here:

some free utilities to optimize and/or fix problems on your computer:
remove spyware: ad aware or spybot search and destroy
delete unused keys from registry: regcleaner
antivirus: grisoft's AVG
firewall: zone alarm

This happened to me too when the board switched formats.

In internet explorer go int tools, internet options, security, custom and scroll all the yway down to scripting. Disable and the prompting will stop.

The weird thing is that my desk top has it enabled but it doewsn't give me the error, btu my lapt op did until i did the above.
