And because of this i rarely pick up my work phone...

I tell the people i regularly deal with to email me if they need me and then i watch my work phone ring and if it's for business i will get an email within a few minutes...

and sure enough if its a friend.. i will get a txt msg on my cell phone saying .. are you there... It drives me up the wall... and if i don't call back they will keep calling...

Is anyone else as bad as me at returning phone calls that people call them back till you pick up?

Call display is a godsend, I got about 10 years back for a 2 week trial just so I could see who was calling and hanging up. Have had it ever since and I can't live without it.

caller ID is awsome thing, but it dont stop the fucking telemarketers to call 15 times a day. Thats why the ringer on my house phone is off and if it is a friend or family, they'll call my cell phone too

I don't really stress about much but the freakin work phone stresses me.. and it's not because i think its a business call..


I have a few friends that are bartenders and don't do much during the day .. call me at their leisure.. drives me up the wall...and i didnt intend to give them my work number but it wasn't blocked when i called out way back

I agree with you. I only answer if the attorneys I assist, my mother, or the head of 3 business related depts. call. Otherwise, everything goes to voice mail. If a number doesn't appear, it will definitely go unanswered. I prefer to recieve e-mails as well. If they leave a voice-mail, I will reply via e-mail.

kinda, im bad for replying a txt. i alwasy say, ill txt back in 2 mins, but always forget to. im bad for keeping numbers in my phone, i musta misplaced like3 or 4 girls numbers, i store them into my phone, but i cant remeber what i store them ass. when im drunk..i put names in my phone like, sexy amy, or sweet ass sam. but when im really drunk i put in numbers like 138cfjjias\## .

- I can filter calls so if my ex calls it goes right to voicemail w/o even ringing
- if bill collectors call it just gets dropped
- I can turn on do not disturb so the phone doesn't ring for the next x minutes so I can boink the woman in peace.
- I can have calls from certain numbers ring to other numbers (office, cell) at the same time so i don't miss calls.
- all calls are logged even if someone hangs up so I know who's stalking me (built-in caller ID)
- I get voicemails forwarded to my email so i can listen over the web. With a 2GB gmail acct I never have to delete them.

LMAO! That reminds me of the time I met this "nice guy" online and we hooked up. He came over a few times and was really a nice person, but the first time I went over to his house, his phone never stopped ringing. Nothing but bill collectors. The final straw was the last call was from some woman that was telling him that if he didn't pay his child support, she was calling the cops.

I left.

But I stole a really cool picture frame on his foyer table on the way out.
