calfs hurt when squating?

I know that squats are pretty much an entire leg work out, but it seems like my calves are going to explode when i do squats. im 275lb 6'2" and not lookin to pack on size because i dont need any. i squat 325 for reps and lately i havent been able to finish my second set of 12, this has been 3 weeks now. i have lowered the weight to 300 or 275 and still the same results. i have been running more now that rugby season is upon us but ive never had this problem befor. maybe im over training my calves? any opinion or should i just work them till they bust through the skin. thanks

shift the weight more towards your heel, thats where it should be, dont put most of the weight on the balls of your feet, i had that problem when i FIRSt started squating, other than that, i dont know man
