Calculating half-life?

Someone please help me. How do you calculate half-life so you can figure out exactly how much is coming out in your system daily? I just started taking enthanate(250) .3 cc, 3 days later, 3 cc plus deca(300) started same day at .3cc then 3 days later .15cc. I've been on it now tomorrow my seventh day and holy mackerel I can't believe how much I'm cutting up and how thick I'm getting. I'm barely working out. I would like to stay at this intake level.

Half life of Enthanate is two weeks Deca I think is two weeks but might be three. One shot a week is plenty.

I guess you're looking for the half-life formula
If the half-life is H days and you have an amount N at the start then after D days you'll have

N
--------
2^(D/H)

Where the ^ symbol is for raising to the power. So, as an example, if you inject 500mg of something with a half-life of 8 days then after 4 days you'll have

500
---------
2^(4/8)

which is 353.55

If you want to know how much goes into your system on any given day, calculate the value for each of the two days and take the difference,

i run google searches and use find half lives that way..or PDR.

Well, first off I'd like to thank everybody for all the love support and attention. No I'm not gay just appreciative. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I'm just saying. Okay, any Seinfeld fans out there will understand that. Well, I understand how long the half-lives are for each of the drugs but I think BLUT WIMP answered me best by showing me how to calculate the half-lives. But,BLUT WIMP , I am 35 years old and have been out of school of school for quite a while, lol. Can you break that down a little bit better? Please, lol . Walk me through I understand where to put all the numbers
500
---------
2^(4/8)

which is 353.55

But how do those numbers turn into 353.55?lol . If you break it down for me maybe some of these other guys will understand and take the time out to take to take this stuff correctly and will wind up having a lot less side effects. Usually I take extremely low amounts of anythi of anything injectable then I take d-ball at key times throughout the day and night so I can control what's going through my system. But currently I cannot get any d-bol so I'm taking just injectables and I work in a very high paying and client demanding atmosphere, so by better understanding this I will not have as many spikes in my testosterone at unexpected times so I will not kill any of my clients, lol. Your time and understanding will be greatly appreciated,;). P.S. give me a couple of days guys to figure out how to give out this karma stuff, lol I will not forget anybody that has help me out, I promise,;)

centurio44 nice calculator!! thanks, awesome!!;). I still am dieing to learn that calculation from BLUT WIMP , knowledge is power.

Let me take a stab at explaining this. The top part of the equasion is the dosage so no explaination there. The bottom part involves an exponent. If you recall from school, an exponent is just a number that is multiplied by itself. The little number up and to the right of the big number is how many times you multiply the big number. Since we can't type the little number (sometimes you can) the proper sign designating an exponent is the ^. So 2^2 is 2 to the second power (2x2) which equals 4. 2^5 would be 2 to the fifth power (2x2x2x2x2) which is 32. In the bottom part of the formula 2^(D/H) you need to figure out the exponent of 2. In the example by Blut Wump, you are 4 days into an 8 day half-life. So your formula would look 2^(4/8). You can go into a spreadsheet program and type =2^(4/8) to get your answer which is 1.414..... 500/1.414 is 353..... OR just type the entire equasion =500/2^(4/8)

To figure by hand, ;) you would do the same as above. Find the exponent of 2. 2^(D/H). I'll use the same numbers. So we're at our 2^(4/8). We'll simplify the fraction to 2^(1/2). I wish I had paper because this will be hard to type. The denominator becomes the root and the numerator becomes the square. The equasion would be rewritten as (sqrootsign2)^1. The square root of 2 to the first power. Which is basically the square root of 2 which is 1.414.......
If the numbers were different, the process is still the same. Say we had 2^(3/8). We would be looking for the 8th root of 2 to the 3rd power. Or (8sqrootsign2)3. I don't have my calculator so I'm going to stop here. Hopefully this helps you see where the numbers come from.
:D

I deliberately chose nice numbers like 4 and 8 so that it would come out to a square-root.

If you use a spreadsheet, then just slap the equation using Start Amount (N), Half-Life (H), and number of days (D) into the cell and let it take care of the rest. You could make cells which show the difference from the previous day. When you make a fresh injection, the fresh amount is just added to what is still in you, etc.

If you use the Windows calculator, switch it into Scientific mode from the 'View' option in the menubar. One of the functions is x^y. If you calculate the D/H and slap it into the memory (with MS), you can hit '2 x^y MR ='. Use MS to put that into the memory. Then do '500 / MR =' and you should get the 353.55.... I put the example numbers there so you could check your calculation was correct on a dry run.

The reason this works is that after each half-life period you have half the amount remaining. After another half-life you have half again. This leads us to an equation base on 1/2 multiplied by itself a number of times equal to the number of half-lives which have passed. It conveniently works for fractions but it just gets a bit messy to calculate. It can take a clear head to take it in.

The roid calculator website is very handy but it's good to be empowered to do your own spreadsheets.

Thanks for messing with my username.
