yep
limited to a shitty smith
got some tax loot, figured it's time.
any suggestions? gotta get a bench and weight too.
thinking 4 45s, 2 35s, 2 25s, 2 10s and 5s.
decent start? this will be all i have access to, eventually i'd like to get some adjustable 100 lb dbs

craigslist pimpin, everyone that copped equipment during the holidays are in refund/return mode because working out was an epic failure for them.

new york barbells.com i like
gymsource.com

Shipping is a bitch if you buy weights online. Buy used stuff. Just like Lambruh said, epic failure = virtually new equipment dirt cheap.

Definitely get the dumbbells.

I want some Powerblocks

I have a custom Elite Fitness Systems

Get an adjustable bench from somewhere local where it's cheap... $300 or so should cover it.

Get the DBs with collars and weights that you adjust. Much cheaper unless you have $10k total to burn on a home gym or something. Get the plates and weights in sets from a Dunham's-like store... they'll hold up just as well over a decade as the fancy stuff.

bro my weights are too heavy for that rack

nowadays the smiths are built with the power rack adjustments and functions from where i've shopped

i was just about to post how i actually like the smith better. helps keep my shoulders able to go with a bb. cant use free weight bb exercises for chest now due to a real bad shoulder injury. ive been able to work around it with the smith. good choice really, if youre into bbing purposes.

i thought this was gonna be a thread about you buying teh canz for your g/f. . .i am totally uninterested in this subject. . .and totally disappointed in you for bringing it to c&c :(

good call. I like that link that samoth posted. Racks are the shit. Really all you would ever need. If I had room for one and I buy one in a second. Fuck going to the gym.
