Burning MP3's

I know that personally, I burn MP3's because I feel that CD's are overpriced for what you get. I think that if you buy a CD that has 3 songs on it that you like, it is a great CD. Maybe artists should try to put out a more quality product or at least keep the price more reasonable if they are really concerned about piracy. Would you be willing to buy a CD instead of burn it if more of the songs were good or if it were lower priced?

I download a lot of crap. If I like the music from an artist I buy it, otherwise it gets deleted.

best buy = $12.99

sam goody = $16.99

ebay = $1.99 + $5.00 s&h

kazaa = free

gee, its not that hard of a decision

Ya, I usually get my CDs for $9.99. I will say though, when someone tells me about a group I haven't heard, I do either listen to music from their website, or download a few songs from Kazaa, if I like it, I buy it. I use Kazaa for pirating porn :)

I buy CDs all the time. I rarely spend over like ... $11 on one. I get them used for between $3 and $8 often. I also trade in old ones, so I spend even less.

I forgot all about CD's and kept thinking hookers.

i tunes.....you can buy individual songs for like $1.00 a track or something......i think it solves the whole CD problem....but record companies don't seem to want to adapt.....

I think CD's are becoming obsolete and the record industry doesn't want to admit it.

I mean I just don't wanna carry the damn things anymore.

CD player + 100 albums: $1500 and a small backpack to hold the fatty cd booklet
MP3 player + 100 albums: $300 and your average pocket

It's a no-brainer.

i listen to good music, so i usually like most songs on the cd's i get

i still have a massive collection of mp3's, but i've only been exposed to more artists because of p2p. and i like to have cd's because i'm a materialistic american

i still refuse to pay more than 12 bucks for a cd
