Bumped up carbs

I decided to bump carbs i started to get mood swings and start fights

trew in a whole wheat bagel:) total carbs of the day should be 100 which is not bad:/ if anything changes i will cutt it out its trial and error:)
 
Not sure how long you have been on a low carb diet. If it hasnt been long your body just may be adjusting. THis is normal, I know for me it took a few days maybe a week. Now I am used to it no problem... 100grams/day is cool though. I have good cutting results on that.
 
great to hear u got into the carbs..but a bagel?? there are better carbs..if ure cutting be careful what u eat, ure not gona do it forever, so eat the right stuff and ull c the results!

Cutting right? Lose the bagel and add oatmeal, brown rice, or sweet potatoes for optimal results. If you're eating carbs post and pre workout and plenty of green veggies, your total carbs should be around 100 g a day without needing to add anything else.
 
:/ whos gonna eat the bread :/:( crap only if their was the BREAD MONSTER like the COOKIE MONSTER i wouldn;t have to worry:/
 
Bread is about the most useless food. When bulking, maintaining, or cutting the only time you'll seed bread go in my mouth is on a cheat day where I might have a hamburger or something. Other than that, I'd eat candy before I would bread.
 
hehe bread is really that bad? how so? i thought it was good food for maintain/bulking even when consumer early hours of the day

I guess it can be useful if you wanna bulk in fat. I'd much rather take in some useful carbs like what I mentioned above when bulking. Bread has 0 nutritional value in it.

And another addition to all you low carbers out there, if you really want to be a rebel and take in more carbs than your pre and post workout, try using a sports drink like Gatorade during your workout, all carbs in it is coming from dextrose..
 
No, still take in post also, I was suggesting taking in carbs pre, during, and post, then just limit your carbs to green veggies the rest of the day.

For example, on weight training days (which is 4 days a week) here is what my carbs look like:
oatmeal mixed with whey protein powder pre work out
Gatorade during my workout
post workout shake w/ 2 scoops of whey protein (42g) and 2 scoops of dextrose (65g)
then I limit the carbs to only green veggies for rest of day.

on days i do just cardio which is 2 days a week, I'll only take in carbs from green veggies

My only day I take off from weights and cardio is somewhat of a cheat/carb up day where I have carbs with every meal, like brown rice, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal.

For cutting, this is doing very well for me. The last 2 weeks, I've managed to stay the same weight, abs are starting to show pretty well, and strength is gaining in all my lifts. This is a little bit slower way to cut up, but in the long run when I still have all my muscle mass and low body fat I'll look great.
 
i do that too...but lower carb days i leave for cardio days, and hi carb for weighth training
 
maybe il do this

prework -oats/protein shake
postwork -gatorade/44protein shake
rest of day just veggies and instead of consumin oats meal 3 like i always do with my cottage cheese il eat some broccoli:/

also the gatorade post wont effect me leaning? cause i hate cardio i have to walk stairs at school about 4-5x a day 6flights up 6flights down


also how long before a work should prework meal be consumed i eat it about 5am and get to the gym aroud 6:40ish good amount of time ?



u dont count veggies and the carbs from gatorade during your workout?

Hey bro, check the label on that Gatorade bottle....unless the stuff you have is different than the stuff around here....

the sugar in Gatorade is a blend of glucose / sucrose / fructose....not pure dextrose....

but it would still be okay post-workout....

OK, maybe I was mistaken when saying pure dextrose, it does contain dextore in it though. It might have glucose or sucrose in it, not sure, but it didn't say fructose in it. I'm using the kind you mix up, not already mixed, but I could be mistaken.

u dont count veggies and the carbs from gatorade during your workout?

1.have oats until your 4th meal, the green veg..dont count these as carbs
2. gatorage should be fine postworkout..no need for it while your training
3.preworkout meal is fine...but see how u feel, if u feel too full..wakeup earlier..should be ok though

gatorade is a major carb! defineately count it!
 
cold oatmeal :( its cool theirs this place near me that makes oatmeal or i can just eat some sweetpotatoe:)
 
cold sweetpotato is ok...if u buy that its bound to have added fat...
so make it night before and store it in a tub for school.

shit i wish i knew about this stuff at school! i used to eat such b.s!
