Bulking & Cutting versus.....

I think I may be done with the bulking over the winter and then cutting during the spring. THis is the third year that I have put on extreme amounts during the winter...and it seems as if it gets harder and harder to get on the diet or cutting phase each time.

You guys that stay fairly chiseled all year long (10% BF or less), have you ever tried the bulking over the winter? is it easier to maintain and build slowly?

Give me some pro's and cons guys.
 
I too am at the point where I finid it harder to diet each summer. Well, I've decided that the chiseled look will be better since I have enough size. If anything bro, try a lean bulking cycle. Saty away from anything that will bloat you and add fat deposits. But diet is key.
 
Yeah it is always "diet is the key" I think I just like eating too much, along with THC levels averaging in the .600's dosen't help either.
Anyway, I put on damn near 30 lbs this winter and I think I am sitting around 15 to 16% BF...So I put on more fat than I intended, but maybe I can get the most of it off without much muscle loss. But I will try it for a couple of years to see how only gaining a few lbs each year and trying to stay at around 10% (give or take) will effect me.

I think its a lot better on your body and on your mental status to stay fairly strick all year and do some cardio if your happy with size,I think I always look better shredded than bulky even if smaller.
 
I have to stay lean year round now, so I don't bulk anymore. That's fine for me though as I don't need to get any bigger. I diet and do cardio all the time. I can take a day off here and there, but for the most part it's a constant diet. 10% bodyfat is fat for me. I have a good metabolism, but I still have to diet hard and do cardio to maintain 6% or below.

Thats pretty much what I plan on doing for the next year or so naturally with the help of a lot of suplements,I just want to keep what I have gained and stay 10% or bellow all year.
 
gymrat your test levels are squashed, you wont see your true potential for another 7-8 months while natty

Yeah, that would be hard to put on 15 lbs. of muscle naturally.
