building up lower abs ???

is there anyway possible to target my bottom four because the top two are a lot bigger and i think i would have a 6 pack by now if they werent so undertrained.
 
I have the same prob...but its just that I'm fat ;). Best way to get to a six pack is shred the fat surrounding them (7-8% bodyfat?)
 
You can't selectively train lower or upper abs; they're the same muscle fibers. Just do a heavy weighted crunch and they'll grow all over.

Side note: hanging leg raises DO NOT WORK ABS!!!!! @#O%U#QOTIU

heh, sorry. They actually work your hip flexors with abs stabilizing the movement.

LOL, sorry to hit a hot button.

your abs and obliques statically contract to the point (and act as stabilizers as you say) you roll your hips up/curl your spine at which point they dynamically engage....
 
Ankle dragging (frankenstein style) with a sled definately effects the lower abs, adductor insertion, hip flexor area more than anything else
 
I need help with this to... even at 6-7% my lower abbs dont show... I Have have veins running trough my obliques ad inercostals and stillhad no lowe abbs...

yer screwed buddy. if you have 6-7% bodyfat and cant see the lower 2 abs, you most likely never will.
 
I'm at like 10 or 11% with an 8-pack. :D It's my one consolation for being naturally little. Either that or I grossly overestimate my BF.

Yeah I am screwed on Abbs... Hell I get bulging viensa and striations in my traps before I get a solid 4 pack yet I hol NO fat on lower back and love handles...

Every once of fat on my body wants to stay in one sheet on my abbs especially when I try to cut
 
hmmm, well if yer that slim, try just bulding yer abs up as much as u can, they might just be too small. but without pics i cant really tell.
 
nah im not that slim now but when i cut i will try to get up pictures...

I was cutting to see if I could get a 6 pack earlier this spring then when i was ripped and the abbs didnt want to come out I decided to bulk and am back at 10-11% I'd guess
 
Just gain so much mass everywhere you have to look cut;) .. If the lower don't come out then just make all the abs look bigger

If you are at 6-7% bodyfat and can't see all of your abs, obliques, and striations in most of your muscles, you need a new bodyfat testing method.

It might actually work....Now I need to put a zipper on my forehead to get that genuine Frankenstein look!
