Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I'm going to fly to Toronto in about one month and stay for 2 weeks. Since I'm currently on a cycle, I would like to bring a few amps with me to use during my stay, and I would like to ask how risky it is. Do they regularly open your luggage at the airport and search through your stuff ? I've visited many european countries and I've never had a problem (they've never opened my luggage) but I've heard that things are a lot stricter in Canada. I would simply mail the stuff to where I'm going to but the problem is I don't know exactly where I'm going to stay, since I'm going to find a hotel after I arrive.

I live only 45 min from Canada and would go to Windsor all the time as a young chap (19yrs drinking age) and I would say at least 1 out of every 4 times we would have everything searched, and I mean EVERYTHING!

no you definatley won't be fine... i've had my luggage opened numerous times. Our customs are just as strict as the agents in the U.S.A. There will be at least 20 people on your flight (maybe a lot more) that are going to the side room where they search ALL of your bags inside and out, all the way down to taking off your socks in some cases.

Ask yourself: *IF* i was a customs person,a nd going through my bag -- would i think it's something "fishY" if i found it -- or think it's legit medicine?
If you have it _hidden_ -- it's obvoiusly for a reason. If it's in your medicine bag, and labelled properly as something legal -- no one will even bat an eye.
Most people who get caught -- set themselves up for it. Good luck explaining to customs why you have a battle strapped to your anke.

trust me bro, dont risk it. its not worth it. they do not go through everyones lugage, but if they randomly pick you, THEY WILL RAPE your luggage. trust me on this. i live in toronto. i know this for a fact

if your not willing to hoop it (up the exit door) then don't bother bringing it, that's the bottom line lol. Your carry on, your check in, and everything else including your back pockets will be searched if your randomly picked or flagged for some reason.

if its in your regular luggage, cant see any reason why they would search, I've been through the airport a couple times, looking very much like a bodybuilder, and never had any problems. remember, that if its canadian customs that happened to find them, personal amounts are legal here

You could always sanatize a visine bottle and just break open your amps and put them in there if you are that scared.

True he is importing the juice, then again a couple amps is next to nothing. Personally, I wouldn't chance it. Just mail it to a secure location and you will be good to go. You can get pins anywhere.

easiest way is to mail it ahead of time....mail it to the hotel...call and just tell them a package is going to arrive for you...or try to arrange so it arrives a day or so after you...
