Apparently wildfires are spreading fast in California, threatening houses and "historical" landmarks. I can't believe they interrupted my local news for this dribble. This isn't breaking news! It happens every freaking year in California, multiple times a year. When Paris Hilton finally gets shot in the face, I want to know about it, immediately! Otherwise just leave me be. I'm perfectly happy watching my local weather (rain), mug shots of the arrested meth heads (hi tonyroma!), and the occasional bomb threat at the school (you know, the one that happened a day prior but is somehow still news worthy even though no bomb was found).
