Brand of Protein: 0 grams of carbs?

Damnit my isopure doesn't taste this good. I think mine has around 25 grams of carbs and 50 grams of protein per serving.

You are using the regular isopure... I used to buy the regular Isopure Vanilla 8.8lbs... Look for Zero Carb Isopure 3.3lbs

Lately, the last couple of tubs, my Isopure Zero Carb has a gassy, bubbly texture to it when mixed. Very nasty.

www.dpsnutrition.com has the best prices on Isopure Zero Carb.

Also another great product is ZeroCarb from VPX
www.vpxsports.com

ISOPURE is an ion exchange whey protein isolate... which means that alpha and beta lactoalbumin's are lost. These are the 2 protein allergen in whey and the reason people react negatively to dairy products. The allergens have all of the positive health benefits of whey protein so doing the whey created from better technology is the best bet...

VPX zerocarb whey This is the single best whey protein powder I have ever used...

cross flow QUADFILTRATION and microfraction selection technology.. This means nothing to most. I have a slight milk allergy , I can generally gauge the quality of a whey protein based on my symptoms after drinking it. If you want QUALITY whey this is the ticket

If you're doing a keto diet stay away from whey protein. It's solubility and rapid absorption cause much of the amino acids to be converted to glucose in a fasted state. This was first noticed by Dan Duchaine after he released his Bodyopus book. People were being kicked out of ketosis while taking whey, he postulated it was because of the rapid absorption and glucose conversion, this was later found to be the case in the Boire study. I would go with a Milk Isolate or caseinate if you really need a powder.

???

What does ketosis have to do with fasting??? Ketosis is just a low carb diet. You can replace carbs with fats and your liver can create glucose from fats...
