box squats on de, and..

You can, sure. I like to put a squat variation on ME day, and I rotate it with a deadlift move and a goodmorning (3 week rotation). Sometimes high box squat, sometimes low, sometimes with the safety squat bar, etc. I personally never do a full ROM max squat in training.
 
she's right. i did speed box squat on wednesday, and im going for normal box squat max today.

I have my throwers do a squat variation after their ME exercise (usually a gm for them). I have them pick either a squat variation that they are not great at or pick one out of a rotation. Some did box squats and others did front squats...and I think that a couple of them did overhead squats this past week. Make a note that they are NOT working HARD on them...it is form and volume practice only.

They love the variation in the routine too...
