Can anyone recommend some cool places to party in Boston? We have never been before and looking for a good time. We are mostly into trance/techno/house music so we like clubs that play that music. Any good pre-party bars to start out with too? I was trying to do a search on the net for clubs and came across Avalon. Looks cool.. is it any good?

Avalon and Roxy are good, on Sat nights. Roxy is more trendy and a larger club. Go to their site to see what dj's are there. Avalon is on a strip with some other bars/clubs.
Whiskey Park is very popular before clubbing, where people want to be seen.
Clubs only stay open until 2 am here.

aaahhh the good old days....Avalon Sat, Playmakers after hrs....Envy when Casey & I did our Friday nights..My Sat nights at Tilt.....whew those days are long gone thanks to the Feds!!!!
