since i hate taking out books from the library, i usually just buy all of mine. plus, i have been trying to get a nice, little collection going for quite some time. here are my recent purchases:

foucault's pendulum by umberto eco
diary of a drug fiend by aleister crowley
less than zero by bret easton ellis
essential descartes by margaret wilson

any of you buy/borrow any decent books lately?

Manson in His Own Words: The Shocking Confessions of "The Most Dangerous Man Alive"
Good read (purchased 2 days ago and just about done) However, you need to weed through a lot of him trying push this "I was just helping these kids out" shit. The man is incapable of taking blame for anything. Besides that you get some good insight into what made him the person he is and what made those kids do the things they did.

The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas
Latin Quips at Your Fingertips by Rose Williams
How To Insult, Abuse, & Insinuate in Classical Latin by Michelle Lovric

Power to the People by Pavel Tsatsouline
Russian Kettlebell Challenge by Pavel Tsatsouline

What wrong with the library? I havn't bought a book since I was in school. lol

I borrowed "I am Legend" by Richard Matheson today. It's short (finished it in a few hours), but a good read. Neat twists towards the end. :)

Lazarus and the hurricane. (story about rubin "hurricaine" carter.

and

One last time by John Edward.

Tripe like Dean Koontz and Stephen King. :D

I just completed "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking. Not a bad read, apparently it's already outdated.

Purchasing with cash is always the best thing! You all know that if you check out a book, and list it here the FBI will have you locked on target, if they are after you for some reason! Otherwise enjoy hitting on your local Librarian!

Make Every Girl Want You. John Fate and Steve Reil.
This book sucks so far.

Conclusion: people lie about the books they read just as much as they do about their size and fitness levels.

Oh, here are some books I picked up for light weekend reading:

Ana Karenina + War and Peace, Leo tolstoy
Moby Dick, Herman Melville
Oliver Twist, Charles Dickens
Encyclopaedia Brittanica volumes 23,24,25 and 27 (L through Q)

I read three of those in Elementary School! No Joke!
