Bonner versus Forrest griffin.. who wins?

Got 2 large on lidell the iceman but was considering a small bet on the Bonner vs. Forrest and wanted your take on who wins.. I know damn well lidell is going to win.
 
Might want to ask this in the MMA forum, might get more educated responses.

Personally I think Bonner vs Forrest is too close for me to wager money, but if I had to bet I would take Forrest. I think he is slightly better all around than Bonner.
 
Evans? Isn't that the washed up ex-champ with long hair? lol. That guy always gets disfigured when he fights. He should stay on the ground where he belongs. I'm thinking Forrest will win also. You can't discredit the kicking power Bonner has. I can't believe he has two bachelor degrees and does this shit. amazing.
 
Im going to say Griffin unanimous . After watch him hang dirty with tito, and take titos shots like he was bein hit by a 5yr old boy, im gonna say bonnar isnt tough enough for griffin. griffin is a hard MF'er.

nah i think youre thinking of evan tanner. i was talking about his fight against rasheed evans from TUF2
 
griffin will win. I mean look at the stand up beating he gave tito, which was bullshit that tito won it should have been griffin that won. It will be a good fight though but forest will win.

griifin for me after he went toe to toe with tito.
Dont think bonner could have done that. Also i think griffin has progressed more.

Forrest will win..anybody that can go three rounds with Tito gets my respect!! bonner wouldnt last a second with tito..
 
let's not forget that it was tito's first fight back after a year and a half lay off....and absolutely punished griffin the first 5 minutes of the fight...i honestly don't know how he got out of that one...i think tito expected it to be over in the first....he's always been known for his conditioning but he had nothing left in the 2nd and 3rd round...he was completely winded. griffin has a hard chin and alot of heart....i think he will beat bonner...but he def lost thast fight against tito. 2nd and 3rd round neither of them did anything....griffin never got titio down or hurt him even. i think the judges made the right call

dude you're insane. Firs off , I know it wasn't his first fight after a year and a half cuz he just fought Ken Shamrock a month or 2 ago and beat him first round. Dont play that horse shit, tito got wide open shots at least 10 times on griffin and couldn't even phase him. Plus he was trying to take him down to the ground every 20secs cuz he knew he couldn't hang standing up with griffin. Ya tito got more shots in than griffin, but if toughness and hard chin gets points in a UFC fight whatsoever, griffin should have taken the W. get your facts straight before you post.
 
Griffin by anal kimura in the 1st... Bonner is tough but watch him. He always shoots in, puts his head down, closes his eyes, and blindly swings hoping to connect. He needs to work on that. I know its instinctive but it seems like he is more afraid of getting hit and hitting the other guy.

Oh for sure...I agree I dont think Forrest would be able to hang if they were to fight again, but I'm just sayin' I think he has heart and he is just an all out brauler....I don't think bonner has what it takes to beat him.

I agree that griffin will win but i felt at best he deserved a draw vs tito, at best.

I don't even think this time bonnar and griffin will be that good of a fight. griffin has stepped his game way up and I felt that bonnar lost his last two fights before evans as well. I mean he got decision but I felt hoger and jardine both got the best of him.

As far as lidell goes I wouldn't say he's a lock over babalu but if lidell happens to win saturday night he better enjoy it because come novemeber it is over. Rampge jackson absoultely demolished him in Pride and jackson got destroyed by Vandelay Silva. Chuck will be lucky to last one round with Silva!

now if those 2 quotes arent referring to the most recent fights i dont know what to tell you.

i would think that clues like "first fight back after a year and a half lay off" or "beat him first round" would make it pretty clear that we are talking recent here but i dont know maybe thats just me :rolleyes:

another giveaway that everyones talking about recent fights is when GymIntensity said the fight ended in the first round, which is what happened in ufc 61. ufc 40 ortiz/shamrock ended in the third round when kens corner thru the towel in.

I think you guys (mesco and kd) are both trying to make the same point it seems that kd replied to the wrong post and it appears like he is refuting mesco but i think he meant to refute gymintensity. The point is, it isn't possible to know that it wasn't titos first fight back because he just fought shamrock a month or two ago. The shamrock fight was after the griffen fight so it doesn't prove anything.

It would be like saying I know for a fact that the mets most recent time the mets one the world series wasnt in 1986 because I saw them win it in 1969.
 
i get what you are saying marvelous and if it wasnt directed at me my bad i just thought it was cause he quoted me originally. whatever, its stupid to carry this nonsense on anyway i still say griffin will win
 
Griffin better win. Bonnar seems like a nice guy who needs his head checked. Forrest still has unfinished buisness with Tito. And as much as i like lidell i'd like to see babalu win.
 
Griffin will win, he is tough as hell and is a finisher. Bonnar has better subs and decent stand up but he doesn't have the killer instinct to finish guys off. Forrest likes to fight, he actually fights better after getting rocked.

I saw Chuck yesterday, he cam to my gym to work out. He looks very confident, maybe a little cocky. Babalu has more to prove and has won 10 in a row after losing to Chuck. I think this may be closer than most people think. Babalu is very hungry and Chuck has been a little complacent holding the title.
 
Watch out for Babalu. Lots of Griffin fans on here, suprising. Tito beat the shite out of Griffin; no unfinished business there. All Griffin has proved is that he can take alot of punishment & throw punches that have little or no effect on better fighters.
 
MESCO and KD1. apologies for my post. it is my fault because I saw the griffin/tito fight just last week and I "assumed" it was a live match on Spike TV. And I knew my bro had ordered the tito shamrock payperview weeks ahead of that. Dont mind owning up to bein wrong, sorry bros.

I agree; Bonnar has what it takes "on paper" to completely destroy his opponents, but he doesn't have the brawler heart that Griffin has. I like Bonnar, but I expect this to be very one-sided.

What is he looking like, fight-shape wise? He could very well be getting complacent. If everyone and their dog tells you day in and day out "Your the best, no one can beat you", it can be detrimental to your mind set. Plus, Babalu has revenge on the mind. :evil: Like Hughes, I think Chuck's days as champ are numbered.
 
Griffen, but I think it will be another long sloppy battle again and go to decision. I'm going to pick Lidell too, but I agree with Martial that his days of being champ are coming to an end soon, just not this fight.
