bodybuilding magazines you like the best and why?

Muscular Development is by far the best BB mag out. It has the best info on AAS. There aren't any mags that have real cutting edge info, but MD is the closest to the source.

MD/ Mus fitness. the training notebooks are cool. After 23yrs of lifting i`m always tweeking my form.

wasnt this a bill phillips magazine? remember reading a few issues and it was so blatanly self promoting for bill's agenda (some program he sold, cant remember the name) it was unreadable. don't know if it is still in publication.
(am i the only one that finds bill disturbing looking?)

like many guys looking to gain i used to buy muscle and fitness. i faithfully followed some of the routines published featuring glossy pictures of the pros. yes i could look just like that if i did exactly what the article instructed!

then of course i learned about AAS and realized what a crock the magazines are. never read MD but sounds like that one is at least honest about AAS use.

boy how we can so easily get suckered can't we? how many of us ran to buy cell tech, or animal power, etc thinking this snake oil or powder would help us put on 20 lbs of LBM.

Muscle Media 2000 was the shiznitz 10 years ago. They had Duchaine back then. It was all about AAS and diet. I loved it. Then they got rid of Duchaine and became an all natural mag. Then it sucked.

Where can you pick up the MD mags. haven't seen them

I like flex. I don't like how they used to ignore steroids in bodybuilding, and even now they down play it big time, but that's not why people would bash it. You would see people saying how Flex put useless bs training programs in their mag. I guess they listened, because since the mid 90's they have been putting in those once a week muscle routines. What I don't get is how all the people who bashed flex for this, now believe in all these 'net gurus' who are now pushing shit like dual factor, hst, etc.Screw that, those are the SAME damn routine Joe Weider used to publish from the 40's through early 90's. HST looks just like Steve Reeves, Grimeck routines etc from the 40's and 50's. As for dual factor this and that, and how bodybuilders are dumb and other athletes train better. Nah, bodybuilders used to train that way, and discovered it LONG before all these bs net gods came along. Too bad everyone bitched and said it was overtraining. Fuck, don't trust Arnold, Weider, Robinson, Big Lou etc when they talked about that type of training. Let's say they don't know a damn thing, call it overtraining, then wait for a few unknown people to make some posts about more frequency, etc and we will believe them. Unreal!

Muscular Development-Great magazine.
Planet Muscle-Jeff Everson shoots pretty straight. A little short on content, and long on T&A...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Muscular development is closest to the reality of bodybuilding,of what bodybuilding magazines are available today.

there are better workouts in Unzipped each month than in Flex.

does anyone have the issue where paul dillet talks about his cycles?

it was this year's may june or july issue...i don't remember

edit: I am talking about Muscular Development

I like MD but there are so many ads for the crappiest stuff....

I like Men's Health for boring stuff and for food tips but I also really am getting into Muscle and Fitness, it has way less ads than MD

None, except Mens Health very useful. THE OTHER MAGS ARE BUNCH OF 3 TO 5 REPORTS ON MUSCLE TECH LOL

Took the words right out of my mouth. Even with Men's health you can get much more relevant info (especially about AAS) on the net for free, so thats my choice.

I was cleaning my house the other day and I found an old issue of "Mind and Muscle POWER". It was owned by Bob Guccione and Nelson Montana was a writer. Its a pretty crappy read, but there are a lot of names I haven't heard in awhile. I agree that Muscular Development is the best around.

HOW ABOUT MUSCLE MEDIA 2000... Any body from that time.. ? Now, that was a Revolutionary Mag... Real info... objective... right until the end.. something happened, and them... gone.. BIG BROTHER???
