do you know what i'd like to see here on elite?

a competitor's forum.

i started my online bodybuilding board experience here at elite....now i am at Ulter's anabolic fitness 99% of the time, usually reading and posting in the "Competitor's Corner". As a competitor, i have counted on this forum for many tricks and techniques that have actually worked for competitors much more experienced than myself. i'd like to see how a similar forum would do on elitefitness...i think it would be great!

it's just an idea...i'll e-mail George if i get a good enough interest in this idea. i know that many of you compete, including the mods.

I second that. It would be useful for guys who are active competitors like :

FlexBailey , Drexx. Flexed1 , SAF , QuadSweep , Sexual Mustard ,and

just to name a few, there alot more however but these guys definately can make great contributions as they are all successful bodybuilders and are veteren competitors.

I would also like to see a competitor's forum!!!
I think it would make things a bit easier because to get all the info. that I've wanted about competing I've had to go back and forth between the anabolics and diet boards.

i compete as a hvy wt and would be interested in hearing about what other hvy wts do. It's a great idea

Preparing for junior nationals in 4 weeks and could use a few trick for last few weeks to get even tighter : )

Heh Heh... so you have been paying attention.

Well I'm the biggest i have ever been at 212 and 10-11% bodyfat , right now i'm about 210 after 7 weeks since my last shot.

I plan to do one more marjor course in the late summer ( it is later then i would like because i plan to have a 2 week vacation in Portugual in early July so there is no point to start before then ) but it will be the most i have ever done after that in early 2003 i should be around 220 give or take. From there i will progress and diet my way to the national qualifier and if everything goes well I fully expect to be in the light heavy class hard and ripped.

I can promise everyone that if everything goes well i will my 2001 physique look like shit.

So what next for you Pharm? I know that you are competing in shows but what's next after that?
 
I'm with ya bro, just read my signature. I think it would be great to have a forum dedicated to competitive bodybuilders, great idea, e-mail George and karma for you.

I was in the hvy wts. stepped on at 218. Not nearly as lean as everyone else but I'm where I need to be for the Tacoma Gold's Classic 31 Aug which is a NQ'er. Had a good time. Knew some of the girls from Brassfield's salon. Went to to Loft and had a good time with them LOL
 
Bump... that would be a great Idea. It would help all of us competitors a lot. It would make us feel like your not the only freak who is going through absolute hell during the last weeks of dieting and long cardio seccions.

Also it would be nice to here secrets and tips on tanning, posing oil, droping water, and carb loading technuiqes.

We should hollar to George Spellwin about this. Even people that don't compete could benefit from some "extreme" competition tips and modify then to a more suitable "beach" level.
 
first show in 15 years

so much has changed and it would be great to have a forum i could ask questions,I also won a few back then as a natural light weight @ 154 now i will compete @ 184 juiced and learning along the way.It is still all about diet but certain drugs do get you so muscular.It would be good

Exactly my thoughts. I don't compete but love reading the post over at AF.

man there's too many flamings and hostlilty on elite. i think i'll just stay in my competitor's corner and leave it at that....LOL

I agree PA, we do need to get another "competitors corner"!!! Definitely a great thing that Anabolic Fitness has... Helped me a ton last year for my shows! George needs to add that in real soon!

What about the Mr. Ill. this Saturday. Isn't Jay Cutler going to be guest posing? I'll be there either way but that'll be cool to see the future Mr. O posing.
 
Yup...

and good old George will make it platinum members only and we'll lose another board before we even had it.

i really hope that wouldn't be the case....the last thing competitors need is ANOTHER expense on top of everything they pay for already. that would just suck

I was just thinking about this last night, and I think it's a great idea. Most of the time I'm forced to post my competition messages, regardless of topic, in this forum, which isn't always suitable for the content. Also, all the pictures that I've posted leading up to my competition would certainly have found a better home in a competitors forum, as oppposed to this one.

It seems that people use this forum for lots of different topics, but I'm guessing the reason for that is the amount of traffic this forum receives when compared to others, so you're almost garuanteed to get a quick response 100% of the time.

Anyway, it's a good idea and I hope Elite is listening and creates a Competitors Forum. I for one would definitely post a lot of info that I have not posted in the past regarding my workout methodology, AS routines, tips, tricks, diet info, etc.

Jay Cutler will be guest posing at my competition -- Bev Francis Atlantic States Bodybuilding Championship -- in New York City on June 8th :)
