Best vid ever!!!!

Thanks, that was great.

I think that peeps need to watch stuff like that more often as they keep thinking it is all about the cycles the pros take, which it isn't.

While what most of what the pros do is really not applicable to most people, that level of training intensity is.

I would love to see more women train that way, rather than waving pink dumbells around for the mandatory 3 sets of 15 reps.

Body building - I just can't fully fathom the mentality behind it

I "get" olympic lifting, powerlifting and strongman, but bodybuilding... probably because you can't objectively quantify progress / results.

Yes we do.

I still track how much I am lifting, how much my weight is increasing, how much my bodymeasurements are increasing, and in comp prep, tracking the decrease in bodyfat.

None of which the judges take in to account on the day of the competition as the results of former Olympias etc would suggest.

Ok, so while we may be able to track progress, you are saying that the results aspect (as in winning the Olympia which has obvious 'political' leanings), is not as clear?

That is true, I don't always get the judging at BBing contests.

Sometimes there is a clear winner though in a lot of the amateur comps.

Conditioning does seem to win more than anything else.
