Body weight and AAS requirements

Should someone who weighs more take more or does that have absolutely nothing to do with receptor uptake, reaction to the gas, and testosterone levels? Like, I know with nearly every medication is based on studies for an average sized man(150-175lbs respectively) with an average size frame and the dosages are accordingly. I need twice to three times as much of anything to get the desired effect and was wondering if injections are the same way? In case you're wondering, I'm 248 at about 13% bodyfat.

Wow, not everyone at once...c'mon guys. Even doctor's charts are skewed because they don't figure in more details of patient-specific physiology. I mean, we talk doses on average based on tolerance and pass usage, but doesn't body weight, current muscle weight, physical condition, etc. figure in too? If it doesn't then someone has lost their fucking mind. Especially when blood level differences between a clean, fit athlete and a lard tub a shit are completely different.

Hi bro, IMO if say you are natural at 248lbs, then you should be able to gain on a lowish dosed first cycle. Someone at say 170lbs natural with a smaller frame would also generally use the same dose first cycle and get good gains, but the dose would not get them to your weight, so don't believe that weight plays a huge factor in doses in this instance, although once you have run cycles and maybe exceeded your natural potential by a certain amount, you will need to exceed your original doses to ensure continued progress, so in this case dose is bodyweight important.
A little more complicated than a one size-fits-all...........

Hope this helps

Yes, many drugs are rated on a per kg/weight basis. Given this, the dose would be relative to the individual.

I would say that weight basically isn't a factor. Based on the fact that your receptors are untouched, a low dose will work well for your first cycle, no matter how much you weigh.

Just my opinion.

So, if someone is, let's say 250lbs 22%b/f and someone is 170 9% b/f - if measured side by side on the same workout regime (proportionately of course) and same diet, there gains would be equal..if hypothetically they had the same genetics which wouldn't explian the weight difference, but this is a fucking hypothetical here.

I can't believe that. I read a few studies about free test & estrogen in the system when you're like "have to knock a wall out of your trailer to get you to the doctors big" and when you're average for height. They were dramatically different. So, wouldn't that imply the larger you are the more you might need for the same desired effect as someone smaller using proportional doses?

I'd say it does vary

just because on vet gear they have dosage information based on the animals weight, usually in kg.

Why I brought this up was, I've taken 1000mg a week of cyp for 8 weeks and bridged to d-bol for the remaining 4 and gained very nicely without any side effects (noticeable)...even without anti-e's just clomid at the very end to kick my nuts back in. But, a friend of mine who weighed about 40 lbs less than me had an acne problem, more like a disaster - skin was like pepperoni pizza. The comparison is valid because neither of us had acne before hand.

I just think it does depend on bodyweight and not so much a focus on other reasons for certain dosages...but then again, everybody is different.
