Body hair...

http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=318000

$1000 for a 100k laser. Me and a few friends were talking about laser hair removal and about how expensive it was. Then we realised between all of us it would cost $10-12...to $20,000 if we wanted to get rid of ALL our hair. So we came up with this type of scenario... click the link... just an idea.

nah 4-5 treatments isn't enough if your hairly. I had 2 and it probably reduced the hair 10%. The lady said to have 80% reduction I needed 8 treatments. I am kinda hairy but not like a typical sasquatch guy whos whole body is covered. I still had to pay full price and I got ripped because it was 750$ per treatment because they had just bought a new laser that did my entire abs and chest in 15 minutes instead of 2 hours like the older lasers. I believe about $450 per treatment is more the norm for a big area of the body.

Bro you are either a very unusual case or they were just trying to leach you of your money ... I think the latter is the case because of the price you paid which is high (particularly for a 15 minute treatment), and that after two treatments you should have seen a better result. Plus those lasers which shoot a very wide beam (so operators can cover a larger area more quickly) may deliver a less potent strike. But perhaps they were just a conservative operation that kept the juice at a very safe (less effective) level, or your particular hair/skin type limited the amount of power they could apply. Also different areas of the body respond differently. But given there is variance from person to person trust me, your experience is not typical.

Repeat treatments are needed because hair grows in cycles, and 4-5 treatments timed properly should catch all the cycles for the vast majority of people. Furthermore, those with coarse thick black hair and white skin will typically get a more effective treatment because the dark pigment in the hair follicle will do a better job of transfering the laser impulse to the follicle, killing it. This has changed somewhat with more recent advances in laser technology but I suspect the newer models that work with lighter hair/dark skin types will require more treatments.

My between the sheets activity seems to keep my chest hair off. As the rednecks round here say...can't grow grass on a racetrack. :supercool
Im in my first cycle at 30 years old, and have never had any real chest or back hair. Ill be bathing in Nair weekly if I grow hair on my back. Ick..back hair makes me shutter.
