Body Fat still to high

Hey guys I have read a ton on this site and thanks for all the great info. My problem is getting my BF down to good numbers. I was at 225 at 34% back in Nov 2008. I am now at 169 at 21%.

My height is 6 foot so am looking really skinny but don't want to start my cycle at that number. I thought I needed to be at least 15% is this correct?

age, training exp., previous cycles?

Congrats on the weight loss.

Pretty much anyone will say no at 30% unless your a powerlifter or something I guess.. Personally, I think 20% is borderline, but ok, depending on what you're trying to do; presumably build lean musle, not bulk...
 
i would say you could go ahead and do a lose dose test/anavar cycle. i wouldn't go above 250mg/wk with that # personally. the higher your body fat the more sides you are susceptible to getting. that doesn't mean you will get them, but why take the chance.

people often forget about the fat burning power of test. a cycle of say, test 250mg's/wk 1-12 and anavar 50mg's/ed 6-12 would help you get to where you want to be most definitely, considering your diet is in check. that's what i would do if i were in your position... i would keep the dose low so the possibilities of sides are lowered as well. just my 2cc's
 
I would lose a bit more fat and then focus on building muscle naturally. Get a good solid foundation first. Since you just lost a ton of weight, I bet your body needs to adjust and maybe jumping into steroids so quickly isnt the best idea. Let's see what the more experienced guys will say.
 
hope i dont get spanked for this but.
i say go low dose and do a simple cycle.
when i did one of my earlier cycles is was to do nothing more than to lose weight/body fat.

this was my thinking and it really helped a lot!
the juice you choose will obviously increase your metabolism a bit, plus helps keep you in the mind set of exercising/working out which in return makes you conscious of what you're eating.
it worked for me.
i lost a bit of extra unwanted weight and some bf as well.

everything the others have said is exactly true...ie...foundation weight, go natty for a while to condition,etc. its all true and good.
but if you get the mindset to do what it takes to get you where you wanna be, then a low dose cycle like the test/var combo is extra credit.
...also i still like to use the pgcl when i notice the weight coming back on. its a great kickstart!eats that shit right off you!
 
I was mountain biking 3 days a week for 1 hour a day. Decided to try and get 5 days a week at 1-2 hour's a day. Workout 3 days a week at the gym mainly Machines.

I am going to try and see if this will bring me down to at least 18% before I start. BTW my cycle is 12 weeks 250 Test enth. 40 mcg anavar. I already have the gear.

you mean 40mg's a day correct? i think what you're planning is a good idea. i wouldn't start until you reach 18%... that's a good goal and will get you in the mindset of going on cycle.

Your diet is the most critical key to your problem.
How did you check you bodyfat% to know where you stand?

you can cycle at 21% bf. im not saying you should or shouldn't, just that your bf% isnt really going to make a difference. people take that way to far.
 
You should go to gym at least 5 times a week and do cardio 5 times a week. In order to get the full results of the juice you are taking.

I train hard all the time but when I am on a cycle I usually amp it up, your body can recover quicker and handle more.
