Body Fat and aas

Why is that so many guys get so particular about low body fat before running a cycle and talking about it benefitting you more from my experience it doesn't make a difference within reason of course under 20%. As far as actual muscle and strength gains. Just see a lot of threads saying to get to a relatively low % before which i agree with to an extent, but still...
 
well most will say under 20% some 15% i think you actually are agreeing but here are a few reasons

1 if you have a high bf% you probably dont know much about diet or have the dedication to run steroids
2 if you have a high bf% you probably dont know much about training or have the dedication to run steroids
3 it raises bp combined w/ high bf% that can be dangerous
4 it messes up your lipids combined w/ a high bf% that can be dangerous
5 if you have a high bf% you should just cut.. and you can cut from a high bf% very 'easily' with proper knowledge and dedication\
6 once you cut and change your lifestyle you are then really ready to take advantage of the juice

I think it's best to be 10-11% or under when you hit the AAS. If you do it right, you can just grow and grow and stay at a low bodyfat and not have to worry about losing size by eating too little. Of course you need the right hormone cocktail for this and clean food/hard workout. I definitely suggest under 15%.
 
I tend to bulk way leaner when I start off lower bodyfat my body feels literally like a sponge for everything, not the case when I was around 15% and trying to bulk with that said I try to stay well below 12% year round. you will be in a better health less overall stress on your joints and you will be able to notice every pound of muscles you put.
 
Lot of good responses thanks guys think just seen one to many posts that make it seem as though they don;t work with a higher fat had bothered me sometimes. Of course there are some that are purely cosmetic. I'm around sports and powerlifting guys so is a little different than a lot of ppl on here. And incase you were wondering I'm not a fatty! :spin:

add to that less insulin sensitivity the fatter you go.

Why 10-11%?? Not everyone who uses AAS is looking to compete in physique contents and for many people they are WEAKER at 10% bf than they are at 15% bf. If your training and using AAS for strength getting down to 10% is often counterproductive.

Thats exactly the reason I posted question with how people talk about that low being best. I lose so much strength when I get that low.. Its kinda sad. If I stay that low I can't see making as much muscle gains either but suppose is individual there

Most people here talk that shit about being at a low bodyfat level but they are 15% bodyfat. I promise you that they didnt wait to get that low to try drugs. I know my bodyfat is about 15-16% but im still cycling and dont give a damn about what they say. Most people dont want to get that low or care to get that low so make sure you are heathy enough to cycle and go for it.
 
there is no excuse to get fat if you want to cycle make sure you have reached your full natural potential which should be both your leanest and largest

Basically, to summarise this post, high bodyfat indicates that your lifestyle is not concurrent with that which is expected from an anabolic steroid user, and you are trying to use them as a shortcut to a 'six pack'. .which is not recommended.
 
I hear ya still kinda disagree C.K. You say that but I dont see a reason just be strongest. I'm just used to being around guys using for only performance benefits not looks. Nice looking better tho. and see no reason not to be fine at 15% or sometimes even higher if are healthy and active.
 
Estrogen conversion is #1. When fat guys take steroids they get fatter and look shittier because of the estrogen conversion (hurricane). All the other reasons stated could be true to an extent.

But if you're a powerlifter and numbers mean more than looks then its all strategic from there.
