Blowed out knee

Yesterday evening I was screwing around in the garage, tripped on a landscape brick and my knee popped like the crack of a bat. I went straight down. It always cracks violently, but never any serious pain until the last month or so. Now It's swollen with a dull but harsh pain underneath my kneecap and the inside of my leg.

Should I wait for it to heal or see a doc?

In week 5 of a Sust 500mg/week cycle. (It may be week 6, I don't have the calendar near me).

You should definitely see a doc to rule out anything serious. Chances are he/she will want to re-examine you when the pain subsides. I doubt he/she will be able to test your ACL/PCL or medial/lateral menisci with you in agonizing pain.

If it's swollen enough, your doc may tap it to remove some of the fluid.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I need to see a doc, the pain is kinda bad but I'm gonna give it a couple of days so I don't look like some hypochondriac. I'll just suffer I guess.

No, if you wait so you don't look like a hypochondriac, you'll just look like a moron.
