Blood Testing for the Members

Finally, I have an account with Quest Diagnostics. This will allow me to send anyone needing blood tests to Quest. If you have insurance that covers the blood tests, then I can instruct Quest to bill your insurance. The other option is to prepay me (at greatly discounted prices) for blood testing IF YOU DON'T HAVE INSURANCE. The blood tests I like to see are: TSH, Free T3, Free T4 (thyroid function); Total, fee and weakly bound Testosterone; estradiol; and IGF-1. If you desire liver function, comprehensive metabolic panel (which includes liver function), or a lipid panel (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL), then you would need to let me know. If anyone is interested in blood testing, drop me an email and put Blood Test in the subject. I am glad to be able to provide this service to members of elitefitness.com

If you wish to ask about what insurance companies Quest participates with, you must email the specific name. For example, Blue Cross and Blue Shield--Alabama is listed. Blue Cross and Blue Shield--Other states is listed. Please be specific.

Bump...I am surprised that many of you are not interested in knowing your blood values before and after your cycles. Blood Testing is the most inexpensive part of cycling and it lets you know what is going on. I am just dumbfounded as to the lack of interest in blood testing.

Trying to keep this were people can see it. Getting your blood work done is very important.

P.S. Doc I went to my local Dr about what we talked about and was prescribed a mild diuretic.

MASS, see if your GP will order these tests for you: TSH, free T3, free T4; Testosterone--Total, free, and weakly bound; Estradiol; and IGF-1. Not practical to have you come to the USA for testing.

Can you have urine samples tested for t/e ratios and for AAS. If so, how long would it take and how much would it cost.

Thanks
Nautica

Hey Doc,
I see that you are also in Dallas. Any ideas of a good doctor to go to? I am about to embark on a pretty big cycle and would like to have my levels checked prob before and after, especially my liver values. Thanks bro.

I do not know anyone in Dallas with practical knowledge of AAS. I would be happy to do the blood testing for you. Email me. As far as urine samples, I am not ordering them..they are diagnostically useless..great for screening though..again, I am not ordering urine analysis except for glucose testing.

what does it cost> Although I have insurance, my insurance will not pay for it unless a doc on the plan requests it and they need a reason or the hmo will not pay.

Most don't need their values tested. They "feel" fine.
