Blood Test Results - What do I do?!?

OUfan

New member
Here are my results. I am 26/m. A little history, I have never used AS and I have had gynecomastia since puberty...

Total Testosterone: 147 250-1100 normal

Free Testosterone: 30 46-224 normal

SHBG: 15 7-49 normal

Estradiol: 21 0-56 normal for female

LH: 2.8 1.5 - 9.3 normal

I have been talking to a few HRT clinics online, though they aren't really very helpful they just want my money. My doctor said she would prescribe test but first wants me to see an endocrinologist, but my appointment is nearly 2 months out. Also, I have had bad experiences with endo's not knowing WTF they are talking about with this shit. My whole life I have had trouble with fat loss and have suspected this, but doctors would just explain away the symptoms as something else and wouldn't test. With the low LH level it could definately be hypogonadism.

So what should I do about the horribly low test levels? I honestly can't wait 2 months to talk to another doctor. I am having surgery for the gyno during that time, and I am just tired of working hard in the gym for years and not getting the results I deserve.

If I don't get any opinions my plan is 300mg test-e/week, get new blood work done in 12 weeks. This dosage is a little higher than most HRT regimens but less than a typical cycle.

Why you ask us what to do and not your doc? You should be going under HRT. You can try some natural products here to help raise your natty test levels like Dermacrine sustain, unleashed.

You pose some good questions and issues in here. First of all I TOTALLY uderstand your Dr's writing things off in the past although it appears you have an obvious medical issue. Why? Simple, your age. Dr's have a habit of treating people in "groups". Example, they don't even consider prostate cancer, polyps, or colon cancer before you're 40. Even though recent medical research proves that colon cancer is occurring at much earlier ages than in the past, mostly linked to poor diet & nutrition. You could even have symptoms of low test, colon disease, etc, but they simply think "you're too young for that" so they look for "other" issues.
Regardless of my opinion, or anyone for that matter, you need to stick with a Dr's advice prior to making a decision on your own.
I have a bloodwork issue I'm seeking advice on as well. My red blood cell count is at the max range and am not on a cycle. However I plan on a test prop, tren ace, var cycle soon. My concern is that test prop and tren ace both increase red blood cell count (especially tren) and I'm not sure at what point this becomes dangerous. Maybe someone here can help both of us out.

I have a bunch of thoughts on this, having had legitimate issues with low natty test levels for years. First off, do NOT start a cycle, do NOT attempt an HRT by yourself. This is a serious matter... you're likely to get more tests done when you first see an endo, so taking any test, etc. now will not give you accurate results.

Call that endo back, try to reason with them and see if they will see you sooner. Tell them you feel absolutely lousy and can't wait two months. Endo's that are well-sought after may likely be too busy to see you, but maybe they'll be compassionate and squeeze you in somewhere if you plead with them. If not, start looking for other endo's... ask you doctor to recommend someone else (don't go see just anyone, as a good endo is difficult to come by).

Don't go to an online HRT clinic, most of them are scams, they don't listen, they just prescribe cookie-cutter programs and rape you with cost.

I have a few more thoughts and suggestions, I can add later.... or feel free to PM me with any specific questions, be glad to help!

Finding a good endo is difficult.
They too have their cookie cutter programs and most are unwilling to listen and work with you.
If you find a good one, hang on to them. They can make a huge difference in your well being.
Its like dating ... you know the old saying about kissing a lot of frogs and such LOL

I guess I could try to do as you say, I just have no confidence in doctors anymore. Unfortunately I haven't heard great news about any of the endo's in my area. I did speak to a clinic rep tonight that was actually very knowledgeable and went over my blood tests in great detail with me, but he wasn't a doctor of course just a well read novice who is on HRT himself. This was the first place that didn't just send me a price list asking what I wanted to order. I'm just afraid of getting a shitty endo who only knows diabetes or whatnot, who will do the same or worse than one of these guys giving me the published therapeutic dose and waiting to see what happens. It was nice talking to the guy tonight who used to have the same symptoms / issues as I do, because he was able to relate to it. That and I think it's the only place where an actual MD signs off on prescriptions.

completely agree and relate...been there myself.... seen countless doctors.... you may want to seek out urologists who have HRT experience....when you call endo's or urologists, ask flat out if the doctor has extensive HRT experience...if not, move on...simple as that

Good advice.

Also, trying to up the T naturally with supps might help raise T and lower e (you're e is high but not outrageously so). UNLEASHED will get your Free T up and you can use it. But at 26 with T and LH that low, you're hypogonadal bro. A good endo will know that.

Good luck.
