blood in syringe after injection

Just did my 4th injection and everything felt just as it had the first 3 times. However, when I was finished injecting there was a drop of blood in my syringe and once i pulled the needle out more blood came out of the injection site than normal. Not alot, but more than normal. Anything i should be worried about?

did you aspirate before you injected?

Most likely you went through a vessel. But did you aspirate? I am assuming you did, if you went (injected) directly into a vessel you probably would have passed out!

You are fine..no worries..happens alot actually..even if you do aspirate..I've had a few like that just recently

Rule #123 in my book of illicit drug use is to always aspirate.

You'll be fine. Just make sure to draw back the needle to make sure you are not sticking an artery that is flowing towards your frontal cortex.

You'll be fine, its happened to me once or twice, and I havent had any problems yet. As far as bleeding coming out, that happens about half the time on my left glute, guess the spot I can reach isnt the "best" heh heh.
