Blood in stool

Ok, at this point I am terrified. About 2 and a half weeks ago, out of no where, I start getting chronic diarrhea with blood. So I go to the emergency room. Blood test = Ok, stool sample = Ok, Xray= Ok. So I go home. No change. Then I have an appointment with my family doctor... he says can't find anything. I have a barium enema scheduled for August 26th. THATS OVER A MONTH AWAY!! There is obviously something wrong or else I woudn't be bleeding everytime I went to the washroom. Blah. By the time I get the barium enema I'll have no lower intestine. Ok.. I'm done.

I dont mean to sound gross but several things could cause to bloody stool.

did you have diarrhea any time before you noticed the blood?
If so then perhaps you made your ass raw with all those wipes with the tolit paper.

Are you juicing right now?
Do you have a history of stomach uclers?

You sure thier not bursted hemroids? Those are no big deal. What color was the blood? Was it bright red or dark brown? If it was bright red it's good because that indicates that it's external bleeding. Dark blood can be internal bleeding which could be very serious.

It all started at once and it is Bright Red blood. Quite a bit of it. Something like 2 table spoons per serving . The doctor said it's not hemroids when they did the rectal exam. I havn't done steroids for over a year. I am very worried that much is for sure.. this sucks.

Dude thats Hemmoroids.Dont sweat it,im not a doc but i have the same thing. When you have loose stools it really irritates them, and if they are internal they bleed more. Its scary when you look in the turlet and the whole thing is bright red blood.....Bright red blood is ok, dark brown blood is not.....Be cool

The doctors didn't seem to think it was hemroids, but Doctors are wrong all the time. How long does it last though? Cause I'm not talking once here. I'm talking 5 -7 bowel movements a day with 75% filled with blood.

And get my prostate checke??!?!?!? WTF!!! ARe your serious! Man oh man. ok.. must calm down.

could be chrone's disease. My sister has it and its a very serious and could be deadly disease. Not trying to scare you but do a search on it. Or ask your doctor about it. Blood in stool is a definate indicator.

thankfully it's not Chrones or Colitis. The doctor did a blood test and it came back negative for it. I would figure it would be a viral or bacterial infection since it came on so suddenly. But apparently the stool sample came back clean. :|
