Bloating and Powerlifting???

Just curious bro's, do powerlifters worry about bloating while on cycle, or does the bloat actually help, as it makes one stronger? Just curious.
 
Depends on what weight class, I guess. Water has weight, so you have to watch that if you're trying to stay in a weight class. Superheavies don't need to worry about it though, and the bloat will help squat and bench, not so much dead.
 
im at the bottom of the 275s (about 258-262) , I love the bloat a before the meet. I do watch it during alot of the training cycle though.
 
I'm bloated. Shit, I weighed 176 three weeks ago, and I weighed 203 this morning. My joints say, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."
 
The bloat is very gooood, lol, everyone so far agrees I think, nothing better than breathing heavy from just walking-or the weight feeling light and your joints just feel great as Spatts said.
 
My condition is still good. Sprint times are up, agility is better, my muscles are just plumped, and the joints are lubed. :D
