When I was 16 years old they called me tortuga ( spanish for turtle ) cuz everyone said my stomach "poked out like a turtle shell". I am now 35 and with years of heavy squating, and drug use my gut is huge. Even when I am shredded it really protrudes out. I have heard alot of research that speculates heavy squating increases intra abdominal pressure which leads to a bigger stomach. I have read articles from pros that have stopped doing squats because it was making there stomach bigger. I believe you have to be genetically predisposed. How often do you see a guy with skinny legs and protruding abdomen, I never have. People always talk about how bodybuilders today have huge guts compared to the 70's and 80's but look how skinny/small there legs were back then. From waist up Arnie was the bomb but Arnolds legs are were skinny. From my personal experience it is genetic predisposition and heavy squating that contributes to protruding abdomen more than gh or igf use period. Shit loads of people take gh and igf on this forum and how man have roid gut very few.
